After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1988, Scott immediately joined the PGA. Scott was Assistant Pro at Biltmore CC from 1991 to 1996, and was elected to Class "A" PGA Membership in 1994. Scott became McHenry's head Pro in 1996.
